This Grey MorningThis morning of February 25 the sky was purple I never felt so aliveThis Grey Morning
This morning beginning of a wednesday the sky turned blue like a flower in May
This morning in the middle of day and night the world turned orange as it sees the first light
This morning like any other hour the world turned grey color losing its power


The Pondin the dark the moonlight gleams on a pond in my dreamsThe Pond
i sit alone on a seat -an old rustic bench, staring at my feet
i'm under a tree with branches high a tear falls down my cheek as i breathe out a stifled sigh
i'm thinking of you sitting by me on that bench, under that tree
i look past my feet, and pick up a rock it skips across the pond, finally dropping with a "plop"
with tearstained face, i look up in sorrow a lump forms in my throat as i try to swallow
